Nick Barber aka Doof was a massive hit back in the nineties but has been keeping a pretty low profile over the last few years. He has two albums on Twisted, "Lets Turn On" which featured the classic track 'Mars Needs Women' and "Its About Time" which was another genre bender at the time. Nick has been living in Ibiza as well, working with Celli (Earthling) and (Shanti) GMS on a project called "Vatos Locos" which came out on Dragonfly Records and they are also working on a downtempo album called "Third Ear".   The Good, The Bad and The Ugly aka GBU are Frederic Holyszewski (Dado, Deedrah), Serge Souque (Total Eclipse) & Dimitri Nakov (Dj Dimitri). With classics to their name like La Caixa and El Marriachi both on Twisted Records, the release of the GBU album has been eagerly awaited for many years. And finally its here! Its not going to disappoint either! This is a fantastic daytime album consisting of a mixture of new tracks and remixes of people like Shanti (GMS) and Tristan. This album has been made with top notch production, sure to devastate any dance floor! The tracks are playful yet driving, dynamic and occasionally edgy. The basslines are remarkable for defying convention and still sounding great. These tracks will be tearing up dancefloors all summer and you'll know it when you hear it. Out soon on Twisted Records.

Simon Posford is Hallucinogen. The twisted lone deranger that warped a generation. TO be honest he needs no introduction, he's been ravaging dancefloors and opening minds for years. He has two albums under this name but countless other releases on compilations like the Unusual Suspects VOlumes 1 and 2 from Twisted. This man is probably responsible for over half of the best tunes ever. His third album has begun, watch this space...

Ott is a maverick genius sound engineering creature straight out of Lord of the Rings. One of the cave trolls maybe that ran in on a hobbit psy-trance party, ate too many inebriated hobbits and never quite got over it! He has worked with countless producers and artists over the years and is a master of psychedelic sonic sorcery. He mainly writes down-tempo stuff as you would have heard on his album 'Blumenkraft' but he has also been known to break into a trundle with a dancey Shpongle DMT Remix and more recently he has released a trance track on Unusual Suspects 2 under the name Hikimori. His second album is very nearly finished too. Coming soon on Twisted Records.

Benji Vaughn is Prometheus. The man who gave fire to mankind! Benji's basslines are legendary and his ear for progression is second to none. His first album was Robot-O-Chan and his second 'Corridor of Mirrorrs' is the next release coming out on Twisted Records. It will be with us for the summer. Benji's live sets are also truly Live and always rock it bigtime. He's playing at a fair few events this summer... keep your eyes peeled.

Simon Posford and Raja Ram form the gruesome twosome at the core of this genre-busting group. Since 1998 they have released three albums, 'Are you Shpongled?', 'Tales of the Inexpressible' and 'Nothing Lasts...'. Shpongle consists of 8 members and their live set has only been done twice in 8 years. Shpongle is an experience unique to itself. As one eye-witness put it... "Surely these guys are the Alpha and the Omega of psychedelia..."

Fredric Holsyewski (aka Dado, Deedrah, Synthetic, GBU) is a bit of a legend in his own right. Also an old face on the scene, he currently sits in Ibiza writing music with the trance collective out there. Particularly with the likes of Serge Souque and Dmitiri with whom he makes up the group GBU who are soon to release their first album on Twisted Records.   Tristan Cooke again is a face that only needs to be introduced to those new on the circuit. He has been DJing and producing all over the world for at least ten years, with two albums under his belt 'Audiodrome' and 'Substance' and a third 'Chemisphere' coming shortly on Twisted Records. Sadly with the advent of Tristan's tinnitus problem, his Dj sets are few and far between, but he still plays 'live' on a regular basis as its the use of headphones makes matters worse.

Simon Posford and Benji Vaughn are 'Younger Brother'. This is also a genre of its own in terms of style although it retains the deep psychedelic edge you come to expect from these two producers. Their first album was 'A Flock of Beeps' with moments bordering on rock, breaks, trance and chill, and what some people have compared to 'emo' music. these guys produce beats you haven't heard before. Their second album is nearly complete and you will be hearing their Live sets very soon. If you get the chance to see it... don't miss it, its spectacular.
